Chris has always been involved in church ministry, ever since he was young and growing up in Gwangju, South Korea. He has served faithfully as a volunteer in many church settings along with his wife, Emily, including his time in the military working with the US Army Chaplain, a unique experience that combined vocational and volunteer ministry with cross-cultural and outreach settings.

Chris is a graduate of Cheonnam National University in South Korea with a degree in Environmental Engineering, which he will put to good use as the NCFC EC Administrator. His role, like his degree, involves making “something ” appear out of the random assortment of resources available to him, and Chris is uniquely sorted to the role. As an avid foodie, he loves creating things with random ingredients in the kitchen that while may appear strange, actually taste delicious!

In his spare time, Chris cultivates his TikTok account where he teaches Korean to his millions of followers. He is also in a committed relationship with his electric scooter, which his wife tolerates.
