CHILDREN MINISTRY

Led by: Pastor Jae Shin (jae.shin@ncfcmd.org), Esther Lee

NCFC’s Children Ministries, Nursery, Discoveryland (3 yo – Kindergarten), and Promiseland (1st – 5th grade), are devoted to planting a spiritual foundation in our children’s hearts to honor God by making disciples of all nations. Our goal is to help children know that God made them, loves them, and has a special plan for them. In order to achieve this, we seek to establish a safe and supportive environment which accepts and respects diversity. Our philosophy is to minister to the whole child; physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and socially, and to his/her family as Jesus Christ would. We aim to meet the individual needs of our children as we prepare their hearts to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

TEENS MINISTRY

Led by: Pastor Joe Kim (joe.kim@ncfcmd.org)

The vision of our “Timothy” Youth Group is to disciple the next generation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our discipleship is developed through our central focus on Worship and in our Bible Study Classes. We balance it with fun activities and fellowship through outings and our Oikos Groups. We want our Middle and High School Students to share the Good News to the world as disciples of Christ, in which salvation and eternal life are freely offered by grace to anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through faith. We also want to raise our students to be responsible and accountable mature Christians so we encourage our students to take leadership and ownership of our ministry. Lastly, we really want our students to enjoy their Christian life by glorifying God in all things and to fully enjoy Him forever. So we welcome you to join our: Sunday Bible Study Class (10:00am-11:00am, upstairs in classrooms); Sunday Worship (12:00pm-1:15pm, Covenant Chapel); Friday Night Oikos Groups on the first and third weeks of the month (7:00pm-9:30pm, Students’ Homes); Friday Special Activity on the second week of the month (7:00pm-9:30pm, Church or Outings); and Friday Praise & Prayer Night on the fourth week of the month (7:00pm-9:30pm, Church).

YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY

Led by: Pastor Brian Lee (brian.lee@ncfcmd.org), Pastor David Son (david.son@ncfcmd.org)

NCFC’s Young Adults Ministry is comprised of Impact, our college ministry, and Focus, our single young adults. While both have their own unique ministries, in reality, Focus and Impact are two parts of a larger whole and we do many, if not all, of our activities together throughout the year. These activities include worship, fellowship, service, and small groups. We have monthly fellowship where we all gather for a large group activity, such as sports, games, hiking, and eating! We also have weekly fellowship on Sunday after service where we eat snacks, hang out, and generally relax together. Come join us!

ADULTS MINISTRY

Led by: Pastor Jason (jason.kim@ncfcmd.org)

NCFC recognizes the call of the Lord to establish a home God’s way, through His value system and love. Destiny ministry is committed to serving all couples and families and individuals in every life stage, to encourage and nurture a home based on biblical principles and truth. The core of the ministry is through the Oikos small group ministry where you will be connected to a caring community of brothers and sisters. Through Oikos ministry and other events and retreats, Destiny members experience God’s love, receive encouragement and prayer, and serve others through genuine Christian fellowship in their journey to finding their “destiny” not just in daily life, but in the life and works of Jesus.
